Forget a party barge on Lake Travis. Yesterday we took a sunset cruise aboard the Tahoe Rum Runner. It was beautiful and so much fun!

Olivia was excited because she got to try the boat’s namesake ~beverage~ along with dad.

Mom and I were happy with the White Claws.

…maybe a little too happy 😉

And even a fairly cloudless day made for a beautiful sunset.

Today we rented kayaks and paddled along the North Tahoe shoreline from Sand Harbor. It was absolutely gorgeous and kind of surreal to be enjoying the beach against a backdrop of snow capped mountains! Not even the freezing mid-morning downpour could get us down. So so so fun!

Tonight we’re headed to Olivia’s favorite Mongolian grill restaurant- Fire and Ice!! Fingers crossed they have tofu🤞🏻
